If you haven’t had the chance to visit the Manatee Riverwalk in downtown Bradenton then what are you waiting for?

Situated alongside the Manatee River is a 1.5 mile jogging/walking trail that leads to a pretty awesome goodies:

Family Fun Zone with a splash fountain and playground

A large lawn for tanning, picnics, and what not

Tidal Discovery Zone

Volleyball

Skate Park

Day dock for boaters

Botanical Walk

400 seat Mosaic Amphitheater

Fishing Pier (snook, redfish, trout)

This is one of my favorite things to do in the afternoon, and my son loves riding his scooter around and in the skate park. I really enjoy catching sunsets here and if I’m lucky watching the train go by.  All of this next to the beauty of the Manatee River… I’m telling you, free never looked so pretty!

INSIDER TIP: Go into the Marriott, they have a Starbucks in the lobby. WIN!
